Tator’s Big Race

Tator’s Big Race is a story of friendship. Tator the Gator is sad. All of his friends, Fred the Frog, Perdie the Birdie and Cabbit the Rabbit all have trophies for their accomplishments received at the Applefest, but he has nothing to put on a shelf in his window for all to see and admire.
“The Applefest would come every year in the fall. He would go with his friends. He would go with them all. He would enter contests, but his friends always won. They had ribbons and trophies, but Tator had none.”
Tator’s friends decide to help him. They get together and work out a plan to help him. There is going to be a race at the Applefest. He could enter the big race. They worked to train him for the big day.
You must read this book to learn what happens. The end is very heartwarming and has a wonderful life lesson for children to learn.
Tator’s Big Race is a great book to teach friendship and helpfulness.
